America is a nation of laws. Foremost we are guided by the Constitution of the United States which ensures that our freedom is preserved for eternity through an innovative and elegant form of self-rule where competing political influences balance each other; and freedom of speech and participation is guaranteed and protected. Justice is achieved by the application of the law equally to all.
We have busy personal lives. It is difficult balancing our home budgets and raising our families. Consequently we become all too reliant on the political establishment to act in our best interest. This complacency can have disastrous consequences. We, the People, are a critical part in the system of checks and balances that keeps our government on true course. When the government is not closely monitored by us, it begins to falter. The less we hold them accountable, the more they fail us.
Our borders are not secured. We are under the threat of international terrorism. 12 to 20 million people have violated our border in the last 20 years and they keep coming and coming, 5000 and more per day. These invaders are stealing billions of dollars from the tax-payers and when we threaten to cut them off they take to the streets without fear of arrest and demand that we NOT enforce the laws that they break. Drug warlords are in control of our borders and through the illicit $140 billion in narco-trafficking are able to bribe our elected officials and law enforcement.
